How to review an AI work summary before sending it
An AI summary can help you remember the week. The report you send still needs evidence, selection and a final review. Use this workflow when preparing an update from FlowSight or other activity context.
State the audience and decision
Begin with the reader. A client may need an outcome and a dependency; a team may need a priority decision; your personal review may concern a working condition. Write one sentence describing what the update helps the reader do.
Define the time period and project scope. A detailed activity history does not automatically answer the reader's question. Include only the context that contributes to it, and keep urgent decisions discoverable near the beginning.
Verify outcomes separately from activity
Compare each claim with project evidence: a delivery, an authorized document, an issue or a recorded decision. Time spent on an activity does not establish completion or quality. If required review is pending, describe the work as pending review.
Check names, projects and dates. An AI interpretation may assign the wrong label or describe investigation as a finished outcome. Correct the report in the tool you use to draft it; do not assume every agent version includes the same editing controls.
Keep uncertainty visible
Separate observed conditions from explanations. A fragmented schedule can coincide with slower progress without proving causation. Describe the condition, include a concrete example and state your interpretation as a hypothesis when other explanations remain possible.
Add work outside computer context. A useful decision may come from a phone call, meeting or reading away from the screen. Verify that contribution as appropriate. The easier availability of activity data should not determine what counts as work.
Inspect what actually leaves the device
Remove personal details, client names, internal links and conversation contents when the reader does not need them. Check access to any shared references. Local analysis does not make a report private after it is sent or processed by an external service.
Open the final export or draft and check content, recipient and period. If a connected service handles the report, review its data flow and terms. Finish with the expected action and a follow-up date so the update connects this week's context to the next decision.
