Your first week reviewing work with FlowSight
A useful first trial answers one work question. This guide gives you a short observation plan and a worksheet, without assuming that the app records every contribution or that every release has the same capabilities.
Before the trial
Start with the official FlowSight site or FlowSight Individual. Check the operating system, published version and current conditions. Releases for Windows, macOS and Linux can progress independently. Record which agent version and optional services you enable so that the trial describes a real configuration.
Read the requested permissions and relevant documentation. Choose material appropriate for a trial, especially when work includes client information. Local screen-context analysis and optional connected services have different data journeys; do not assume the behavior of one describes the other.
Choose the question
Select a task with an identifiable outcome: reproduce an issue, revise a proposal or prepare a design decision. Ask what you want to learn about its conditions. For example, did recurring support requests displace the continuous time you expected to have? This is more actionable than asking for a general productivity score.
Write down what the task needs and what the available context will miss. Calls from another device, paper reading and in-person conversations may matter. Add those contributions when reviewing a summary instead of treating everything unrecorded as absent.
Observe, then change one thing
For the first part of the week, review normal work. Compare FlowSight's interpretation with your memory and project evidence. Preserve uncertain descriptions as uncertain. Avoid changing the whole schedule while trying to establish a reference.
Then choose one adjustment: prepare material before a session, agree a routine consultation window or move one recurring meeting. Keep a route for urgent needs and define how you will judge the outcome. Several simultaneous changes make it harder to explain which one helped.
Close the trial
Compare the task outcome and your experience with the context observed. Check whether the change moved a problem to someone else. A short trial can identify a useful practice; it does not establish a universal effect or a guaranteed improvement percentage.
Record one conclusion, its uncertainty and a review date. Retain, revise or stop the adjustment. The worksheet linked below works in ordinary editors with or without FlowSight and does not imply an automatic agent integration.
